Dear business partners,

on 30.04.2025 12:00 - we will change the document number output for outgoing documents.

The internal FI document number (23...) will then disappear from the outgoing documents.
We will only output the external document number (for A1 10..., for MU 80..., for UH 74...).

The external document number has 12 digits.

This also influences payment advice. There will be one fewer column in the future, as we will also remove the internal document number here.

The external document number or the invoice number of the partner is output in the document number column. And as a reference, delivery note number, test report number, VIN, etc. (if available).
 

This change is also taking effect in the VDA.

VDA4938 - The 12-digit external document number is specified in the BGM segment.

VDA4988 - Output 12-digit external document number in DOC segment - output of reference in RFF segment
